On June 2, 2023, a majority of both states in the U.K.D. voted to make the Sword Tip Flag the official flag of the United Knights of Dalewood. Only a handful of votes were cast in the election because seniors had already finished school before the vote took place. 1st Period voted in favor of the sword tip flag 3-0. 3rd Period voted in favor of the sword tip flag 4-2.

The designer of the U.K.D. flag was Bless Pialda.
