Article 3, Section 5 of the original U.K.D Constitution provided that “The Teacher is given limited authority by the Class to interpret and enforce the provisions of this Constitution and any laws that are enacted.” Pursuant to this provision, the Teacher made the three Constitutional Interpretations listed below.

Constitutional Interpretation 2024-1 (Meaning of “the Class” in Article 3, Section 3)

Constitutional Interpretation 2025-1 (Retroactivity of the 4th Amendment)

Constitutional Interpretation 2026-1 (One person, one vote)

On January 13, 2026, the Fifth Amendment was added to the U.K.D. Constitution. This Amendment created a new process by which the Teacher’s interpretations of the Constitution or laws could be appealed to the Supreme Kirk, who is now the final authority on legal and Constitutional interpretation.
