Rice!

On September 14, 2023, the State of Lawcedonia voted to make rice the state’s official food. The vote was 18-5 in favor of rice as the official food. Many of the speeches in favor of rice noted how it it is a staple of many different cultures around the world and that it was therefore representative of the varied cultures that make Lawcedonia such a rich and diverse community.
