Amendment I (ratified February 10, 2023, unanimous voice vote)
At any time during the semester, each Class may enact, amend, and repeal Class laws.
Amendment II (ratified February 20, 2024 by a vote of 36-6)
In the event of a substitute teacher, the provisions of this Constitution remain in force. The Teacher is held responsible for informing the substitute about the Constitution and can be censured for any violations of the Constitution made by a substitute teacher.
Amendment III (ratified September 12, 2024 by a vote of 42-9)
Article 1, Section 9: Teacher cannot force any student to leave their personal possessions in a place outside the student’s immediate proximity, unless Teacher is given permission by the class.
Amendment IV (ratified February 19, 2025 by a vote of 30-11)
Article 1, Section 10: Teacher cannot give any tests or quizzes for a grade.
Amendment V (ratified January 13, 2026 by a vote of 28-5)
New Article 3, Section 4: If at least two Student Representatives disagree with the Teacher’s interpretation of a law or this Constitution or the appropriate remedies for censure, they can summon the Supreme Kirk to make a final determination.
Article 3, Section 7: The Supreme Kirk is the final authority on legal and Constitutional interpretation. The Supreme Kirk is the teacher in charge of the Wheaton High School NSL PLC.
